“Almost all Americans own a smartphone or a computer. Each device contains the library of Alexandria. The sum total of all world knowledge.”

In our modern world, we have access to vast amounts of information at our fingertips, much like the library of Alexandria. Instead of feeling overwhelmed by this abundance, we can embrace it as an opportunity to learn, grow, and deepen our understanding of the world. For example, we can use our smartphones to access online courses and tutorials, expanding our knowledge and skills in various areas.

An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.
Proverbs 18:15 ESV

The Bible verse affirms the value of seeking knowledge and wisdom by stating that an intelligent heart acquires knowledge. In a similar vein, the Stoic reflection encourages us to embrace the abundance of information available to us as a means to learn and grow in wisdom.
