🏛️ Stoic Quote

We are bacteria to the universe. We’re basically monkeys on a small rock orbiting a small backwards star in a huge galaxy, which is in an absolutely staggeringly gigantic universe, which itself may be part of a gigantic multiverse. - Naval Ravikant

In our everyday lives, it's easy to get caught up in our own importance and stress over minor problems. Remembering that we are just a small part of the vast universe can help put things into perspective and reduce our worries. For example, when stuck in traffic, remind yourself that in the grand scheme of things, this moment is tiny and insignificant.

When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,
Psalm 8:3 ESV

The Bible verse reflects on the insignificance of humanity in the vastness of the universe, similarly to the lesson's reflection on our smallness in perspective. Both emphasize the importance of humility and seeing our problems in proper context.
